Before taking the meditative touch rebalancing training I received a few sessions with Shantam which completely altered my perception of how the emotional and physical bodies coexist. I was interested in joining the course to deepen my knowledge base on how to free the body from tension and holding patterns.

One month ago, I joined the Meditative Touch massage course with Shantam. Wauw!! I feel so rich that I met him as a beautiful soul. For me, everything was there in training. An outstanding balance between experiencing, meditating, technic, giving massage, anatomy, and coaching on my present. After the training gave sessions and after those massages, people are saying: ‘you must be tired after giving two hours massage.’ Then I hear the voice of Shantam in my mind: ‘life is easy, the easiest way is the best way.’ And that is what I do now in the massages I give. Three years ago, one of my friends gave me a massage session, and I felt great after it. I had chronic pain in my left shoulder blade, and it was healed. So I was curious to know more about the kind of massage he does. He recommended me the name of Shantam and told me to take a massage session with him. Then another friend of mine said to me that he also heard about Shantam and his Therapeutic Massage Training and also recommended me to do the course with him.
Then I contacted Shantam and participated in Meditative Touch Rebalancing Massage/Bodywork training from Dec 1 to Dec 11, 2018.
During the training, Shantam was more like a friend to me than like a trainer. He helped entirely in my new journey of awareness and taught me how to connect with myself and the client on whom I am giving the message.

My teacher Shantam is one of those people who can be your good friend, your healer, your masseur, your teacher, and spiritual guider in one face. I was fortunate to attend a training with him in 70 hours in unforgettable GOA. These two weeks completely changed my life and even the way of seeing my life and my passion for massage. Receiving a massage from Shantam is one thing, receiving a full 10 Days training was just an amazing opportunity to learn all about this deep work. Shantam shares all of his knowledge, which was sometimes overwhelming but extremely interesting and inspiring. He takes time to teach one on one, to make sure you understand and you’re doing the right thing. Not only the technique but also the effect of the work on certain areas in the body. How to approach your client, how to enjoy what you are doing, and that it’s all about helping the person on the table. To connect and work in your own flow instead of working only from your brain. While staying centered, focused without losing yourself in the client’s body or emotion during the massage. And a serious amount of techniques to give a dozen different sessions. The course is built in a way to prepare you to give a full session of 1,5 hours, with confidence. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and love for what he does make those 10 days an amazing learning experience. Highly recommended for the ones who want to give more than ‘just a massage.’

I just finished the 10 day meditative touch massage course with Shantam in Arambol, Goa. It was a beautiful and transformative experience and went way beyond anything I could’ve expected. Coming into the training I was really nervous because I had no experience and this was way out of my comfort zone. Shantam’s passion and expertise on his craft gave me ease and confidence to really dive in and give it my all. I enjoyed that we meditated before we start each day allowing us to drop in and connect to our heart and body so we are able to feel through our work and not be in our mind. The hands on approach to learning this skill has helped me a lot to understand that this is a mediation between client and therapist. Shantam’s patience and energy kept any negative thoughts out and worked well in the small group dynamic. I was running a yoga retreat and had a little time after it finished.
I looked online for a meditation training, and my search brought up Meditative Touch Massage Training. I am a massage therapist, and my practice had reached a level and had become a little predictable. I inquired and arranged to come to Arambol to take the course.
Sometimes the universe works to give you what you need. The course has been amazing. I will so miss our spiritual discussions and Shantam’s humor.
The training was very thorough, and English is spoken beautifully understandable. Now I have more knowledge of emotions stored in the body and has enhanced my understanding of fascia in the body. I have managed to learn so many new massage techniques, and my fingers have got a lot of strength in these ten days.
I would thoroughly recommend this course and Shantam’s love for the body and energy. The techniques are all about using your body weight and protecting and caring your self with fewer efforts.

Did my Training in July 2019 and I am so happy I was able to learn from Shantam, in one of my favorite places in India, Bhagsu, Dharamshala in a pretty intense course with only 1 other student. He is a teacher but he never stops learning too and you can feel that. He has a special character and is quite unique, but has a big heart after all and he gave me a lot of confidence with my touch. “Massage is not about techniques, it is about the touch and how much you can stay in yourself, meditative”

I just finished the 10 day (70 hour) Meditative touch- rebalancing massage course Shantam offers in Arambol, Goa! I have learned about Ayurvedic massage in the past, which is a more gentle relaxing kind of practice, but still didn’t feel the confidence I needed to start out as a masseuse. Within these ten days Shantam not only learned all of us the strokes and the mindset behind his work, he taught us how to trust ourselves and be present in what we are doing. Meditative touch is your own meditation practice, while taking care of the body of someone. It’s a mix between deeper strokes, rocking, stretching and the gentle touch in between. I feel confident and already started out practicing what he taught us. Strength and a better flow will come with experience, but the first step has been taken when he took all of us by the hand!

Shantam is a great teacher! He is fun to be around, takes his time to explain everything and is so generous in sharing his knowledge! He gave us all the tools we need to start, the confidence being the biggest and most important one!
I would highly recommend his course and will keep spreading the word!

I was a bit Skeptical first when I heard that Shantam is a great Therapist and masseur and things like that. I thought he is good but that good as people talk it was hard for me to believe.

So my apology to him as I sent a friend of mine to have a session with him before I decided to go to him or not.

I met my friend right after the session, and the look on his face and I was wow… I need the session right now and right here… I had several sessions with Shantam. I love the Mindful Touch Rebalancing technique as it provides both deep relaxations, stretching and deep tissue work. The course was amazing. Ten days seems like a lot but it goes by fast because of the giving and receiving we do on each other. I had a massage with Shantam, and it was definitely not an ordinary massage, it was more than I expected. The two hours were a journey through my body, but even more through my emotional world. It wasn’t clear to me, that I collected over the last years many emotions in my body, which became trigger points. The special breathing and massage brought me deeper to the points on which I have to work further on. I laughed and I cried in between these hours, but in the end I felt light and more in balance with myself than before. So I decided to come again. The second massage, it was more emotional intensive than the first, I could really feel the combination of massage, energy healing and meditation. Shantam helped me by solving some emotional problems, and he supported me as well by my personal spiritual journey, which is still going further on. Thanks to Shantam I really could feel that I’m connected to everything around me. His massage was balm for my body and my soul. I’m sure that by these massages some emotional blockages have dissolved and in the end I felt only love for myself and others. So I will definitely come again, when I’m back in India.
